
General Rules & Regulations
Admission and Eligibility Criteria:
1. Grade & Age Requirements:
o Students can only enroll in the Hifz program after promotion to Grade III or IV.
o Age limits: Boys (9-11 years), Girls (8-10 years).
2. Nazra Proficiency:
o Candidates must be proficient in Nazra (recitation) and must pass a Nazra test before starting the Hifz program.
3. Physical & Mental Fitness:
o Students must be physically and mentally fit for the program.
Duration and Structure:
1. The program is divided into three modules, spanning 2 years:
o First 8 months: Memorize 10 Para’s (sections of the Quran).
o Second 8 months: Memorize 14 Para’s.
o Last 8 months: Memorize the final 6 Para’s and reinforce previous learning.
Schedule and Attendance:
1. Hifz students have a longer schedule, with Saturday being a regular working day.
2. Students are expected to adhere strictly to the attendance policy, and any leave requires a valid reason and approval.
3. Holidays and breaks (like summer and winter) are more limited for Hifz students compared to regular students.
Performance and Discipline:
1. Initial assessment lasts for 2-3 weeks to ensure suitability for the program.
2. If a student’s performance is unsatisfactory or if the parents’ cooperation is lacking, they may be asked to return to regular classes.
3. Hifz students are not allowed to make mistakes in their daily Sabaq (new lesson) and Sabqi (revision).
4. Parental involvement is essential; parents are expected to regularly check and sign their child’s diary.
Daily Routine:
1. The day begins early (6:30 AM) with Sabaq, followed by revision, meals, prayer breaks, and a power nap.
2. Students also have weekly English, Math, and Science classes.
3. There are three evaluation periods throughout the year (First, Mid, and Final Term).
Academic and Extracurricular Activities:
1. Students are divided into groups based on how many Para’s they have memorized, with different daily Manzil (revision) requirements.
2. There is a strong focus on extracurricular activities like martial arts, kabaddi, and character-building sessions (Tarbiyah) through stories from Islamic history.
3. Hifz students participate in Qirat, Naat, speeches, and other national competitions.
